Tracy came to Yoga in the middle of her life after years of Tai Chi, and then physical therapy that brought the awareness that there must be something more which one can do to maintain wellness in the body long term.  After just one class, she knew that it was yoga!

In her classes, she strongly believes that yoga is accessible to every student with simple modifications, and strives to bring a union of physical and spiritual practice.  Her classes combine body, breath and meditation.  Working slowly with more mindfulness can often bring more joy.  There is always plenty of time to ask questions and get that right feeling for you in her class.

In 2008, Tracy completed her 200 hour Teacher Training with Purusha Hickson, Ericka Bryant, and Jennifer Lloyd.  She has done numerous trainings with Jennie Winterburn studying AIM Awareness–Integration–Movement  Somatics and Yoga, and  completed the Integrative Restoration – iRest Level 1 Training with Richard Miller PhD, plus numerous workshops and online trainings.  She spent 10 years teaching yoga in Thousand Oaks, CA with the Conejo Recreation and Parks District, giving additional private classes and workshops from 2008 to the Present.

Tracy has also been a Dharma student since 2008 and tries to bring wisdom, compassion and kindness into her own practice and with her students.

Tracy has a BA in Art, and MA in Counseling and now finds wisdom and happiness exploring spiritual travel.  She has been to Bhutan, Thailand, South Africa, Myanmar, Japan, and India most recently.  She moved to the Sacramento area in 2021 and lives in Carmichael with her sister and two cats. Tracy loves sharing the life journey of her students through Yoga!
